During my final year in college, I worked on a group project for a marketing class where we were tasked with presenting a new product idea. Unfortunately, we miscommunicated our roles, and when presentation day arrived, some members weren't prepared. The presentation didn’t go as planned, and we received constructive criticism from our professor. I learned the importance of clear communication and planning ahead. Afterward, I took the initiative to create a shared timeline for future projects, ensuring everyone was on the same page. In my next group project, we implemented these changes, resulting in a smoother collaboration and a much better outcome.

I volunteered for an event organized by a local charity, where I was responsible for coordinating logistics. A week before the event, our main speaker canceled, which left us scrambling to find a replacement. I realized the importance of having a backup plan. We managed to secure another speaker, but the experience taught me to always prepare for the unexpected and to communicate effectively with my team. In later volunteer roles, I made it a point to have contingency plans and ensure everyone involved was aware of potential risks, which significantly improved our event management.

In my first job as a marketing assistant, I was involved in launching a social media campaign. We underestimated the time needed for content approval, which resulted in the campaign launching a week late. This taught me the importance of time management and setting realistic deadlines.
